Quentin has over three decades of entertainment industry experience and is currently Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications for Home Box Office (HBO) managing public relations activities, talent relations, media relations, cooperate affairs, and special events. Richard Plepler, HBO Chairman and CEO, has said about Quentin, “There is simply no better PR executive in the entertainment business.” As a leader of business development in the areas of publicity, content strategy, broadcasting, and feature films, Quentin joined HBO in August 1980 as a senior publicist advancing his career to director, vice president, and senior vice president of media and talent relations, senior vice president of corporate communications, achieving his current position in 2008. Prior to joining HBO, he served a senior publicist and assistant manager at WABC-TV.
Some of Quentin’s most prominent work includes managing public relations campaigns for HBO original programs including “Sex and the City,” “Entourage,” “The Sopranos,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “The Wire,” “Big Love,” and “Deadwood,” as well as for the Emmy and Golden Globe Awards and spearheading public relations campaigns for original movies, documentaries, sports programs, and music and comedy specials. Quentin holds a BA in Journalism from University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
